To help you to use your affiliate code on your website, in your blog or newsletter follow these simple steps and you'll soon be ready to earn commissions.

1. Copy the code from your e-junkie affiliate page.

If you need to get your affiliate code then follow the steps in 'Joining The Affiliate Program'

2. Inserting the code into your web page.

For you to make an affiliate link like this all you need to do is to open the web page in your web page text editor. I use Dreamweaver, but you may be using 'Front Page', 'Filezilla', 'Nvu' or perhaps an easy website builder service that you are a member of.

Which ever way you edit your web pages, all you need to do is position the cursor, that's the flashing line that you see on the screen that tells you where you are about type, then in your code view, insert the code that you copied in step 1.

If you are unsure what I mean, in code view you will see the web page as something like this.

Here is a section of a web page seen in the 'code view'.

The red arrow indicates where the flashing cursor is which indicates where on the page the code will appear.

If you paste in the code you copied in step 1 you will see.

Something like this appear.

This is the code that will create the affiliate link.

Here is a close up of the sort of code you will see.

Remember that your code will look a little different as it is unique to you... don't copy the one in this image or you won't earn your commissions.

If you were to now look at your web page in the 'design view' or how it appears on the internet you will see something like this.

The blue line that says

Is your live affiliate link.

All you need to do is upload your web page to your website host and your link is live ready for visitors to click and earn you commissions when they purchase a copy of the Home Staging Handbook.

3. Changing the words in the link.

Perhaps you would like to use some other words to entice your visitors to click the link:

  • Take a look Now!
  • Find out more about The Home Staging Handbook
  • Get Going On Your Home Staging, Buy The Handbook Today!

It's very easy to alter the words but keep the link intact.

Here's How To Do It

Just click somewhere on the blue link.

Delete all but the first and last letter. This way you will keep the link intact. (don't delete the whole sentence or you will delete the link as well).

Type in the new words you want to use that display in the link.

Delete the first and last letter so that your new sentence is displayed correctly.

It is a well know fact that website visitors often click images that appear on web pages.

If you want to turn any of your affiliate images into affiliate links it's easy to do.

Here's how to create a link using one of the images.

Just click somewhere on the blue link.

Delete all but the first and last letter. This way you will keep the link intact. (don't delete the whole sentence or you will delete the link as well).

Now choose the image that you want to display and link with your affiliate code.

Notice that I inserted the image between the two blue letters.

This ensures that the image is linked with your affiliate code link.

Now all you need to do is to delete the two letters that are either side of your image.
